Alrewas occurs as village approximately 5 miles northerly of Lichfield in the county of Staffordshire, England. It lies on the confluence of the Trent & Mersey Canal and The River Trent, and was previously the seat of The Bishop of Lichfield. These are presently under threat by property developers intending to build "Essington Park"; the proposal that has non been swell received per denizen of this little village.
